Common Admission Test (CAT)

CAT (Common Admission Test) is conducted by IIMs (Indian Institute Of Managements) for its admission.

Specialisation: Specialisation is available in Management Accounting, Business Policy, Environmental Factors, Finance, Marketing, Information Systems, Human Resources, International Trade, Operation Research, Production etc.

Eligibility

Qualification: A bachelors degree or equivalent from a recognised university. Those candidates appearing for the final year exam can also apply.

Method Of Selection: On the basis of All India Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIM's jointly. It is a standard test to test students logical, mathematical and analytical and linguistic abilities.

Application

Cat Bulletin : The CAT Bulletin containing the CAT Application Form and other information can be obtained at branches of State Bank of India and various IIMs Office. Please note that a candidate needs to buy only one CAT Bulletin irrespective of how many IIMs he/she is applying to. All candidates must enclose the Bank counterfoil with the CAT Application Form. SC/ST candidates should submit a copy of SC/ST Certificate to the Bank at the time of obtaining the CAT Bulletin. No claim of refund will be entertained on Bulletin once sold.
