About Board:

Andhra Pradesh Board Of secondary Education is the Authority which conducts the secondary school public examination to the candidates of the state of Andhra Pradesh, through it's affiliated schools. The board was established in 1953 to improve education level of Andhra Pradesh State. It is the part of the State department of Education.

Exams Conducted by APBSE:

  • For XII Class
  • For X Class

Main Functions:

  • To grant recognition to aspiring school.
  • To define courses and text books for High school and Intermediate level.
  • To conduct High school and Intermediate Examination.
  • To provide equivalence to the examinations conducted by other Boards.

Objectives:

  • Prescribe and modern courses.
  • Conduct of Examination in Urban Rural areas of Andhra Pradesh State..
  • The attitudinal change and professional orientation of the staff to keep pace with new techniques and rising expectations.
  • Maintenance of accuracy and reliability of evaluation.
  • Grant recognition to state High School and Intermediate classes.
  • To make necessary arrangements of the preparation and publication of Text books of high school and intermediate.
